Position Overview:
As a Legal Specialist you will be responsibile for reviewing and negotiating commercial documents; MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, lease agreements, data processing addenda (DPAs), confidentiality agreements (NDAs), and engagement letters.
You will leverage our proprietary AI-enabled platform to assist with document review, deviation identification, and playbook application. The platform enhances speed, consistency, and accuracy, enabling you to deliver high-quality legal work at scale while maintaining full ownership and accountability for the final output.
Working hours: 9am-6pm EST
Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of reviewing and negotiating a broad range of core commercial agreements; MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, lease agreements, data processing addenda (DPAs), confidentiality agreements (NDAs), and engagement letters.
Helping establish and agree on with contract playbooks (i.e. review guidelines) with current and new clients.
Reviewing the work of junior team members and assisting with their professional development and ongoing training.
Manage your own workflow and document queue, prioritising effectively to meet defined turnaround times and service levels.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across our global legal team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Work directly with internal stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and service excellence.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and delivery of workflows.
Required Experience:
3+ years experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts gained in-house, at a law firm or within a legal services provider.
Experience working alongside commercial or procurement teams with exposure supplier-side negotiations.
Fluent, professional-level English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this global role (CEFR C2 / IELTS >7.0 / TOEFL iBT >100 equivalent).
You enjoy working within clearly defined rules and guidance, with a strong preference for applying structured playbooks rather than navigating legal ambiguity.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Enthusiasm for new technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, with a desire to innovate within the legal industry.
